Public Transportation
By Air—Newark-Liberty Airport: It is possible but convoluted to combine bus, light rail and bus. Ask us for directions.

By car—See the directions on the Chatham-Summit website. We recommend that you cross-check the information below with a paper map and with any GPS device that you use. Call Jotham Bailey, Transportation Coordinator, if you need help. If you get lost en route, call Starks W. Lewis, 908-410-8198, let him know where (you think) you are, and he can work with you.
Driving
From Upstate NY, Albany—NY Thruway I-87 south to exit 15 S., I-287. Continue south to exit 52 A-52B; stay left at the fork and merge to NJ 23 south toward Wayne. Take a sharp right onto west Lindsley Rd, then a slight left onto Mountain Ave. In 3.4 miles, turn right onto Bloomfield Ave. Go 0.3 mile to Caldwell College.
From Western NY:—I-81 south toward Scranton; continue to I-380/ I-84, 29 miles, and merge onto I-80 east. Then take exit 47B to merge onto US 46 east toward the Caldwells/Montclair. After about 2 miles, take a slight right to NJ-159 E/Bloomfield Ave; 3.5 mile to CC.
From the south—Garden State Parkway north to exit 145 toward Newark/Harrison. Follow signs to I-280 W the Oranges and merge onto I-280 W. At Exit 7 Pleasant Valley Way, Millburn/Verona, take a slight right onto Pleasant Valley Way. Go 1.9 mi to Lakeside. After 0.6 miles, turn left onto Bloomfield; 1.4 mi to Caldwell College.
Local directions, such as from Chatham-Summit Meeting to Caldwell College and the reverse, and to a host family, will be available at Chatham-Summit Meeting on Friday night and at the Registration table.
Parking: You may drive right up to the Alumni Theatre building to leave off passengers and to unload materials. You will then need to park the car (no charge) in one of the nearby campus lots.
