The Publications of NYYM

You can find copies of these at your local meeting, or online at nyym.org (click on the “Resources & Publications” tab). All are updated regularly.

Faith and Practice is our book of “discipline.” It describes our testimonies and beliefs and contains guidance on conducting business.

The Handbook describes the structure of the yearly meeting and its committees, with details on responsibilities, terms of service, etc.

The Yearbook is published every fall and contains information for all Friends, but especially for those conducting business with the yearly meeting. It includes minutes from recent Sessions, committee reports, the budget, the meeting directory, a list of committee appointments, and contact information for those Friends “under appointment“ (serving on a YM committee.)
