Fall Sessions 2014, Youth Program
What’s happening for . . .
TEEN FRIENDS (7th–12th Grade)
The theme is Green in the City, and we’re not kidding about the “city” part; you’ll be out and about, checking it out. Tour Highline Park and an eco-friendly skyscraper. Hear from speakers active in earthcare. Participate in meetinghouse sleepovers Friday and Saturday nights, do some Spirit/body work with Abby Burford, and tie it all together in a conversation with Mark LaRiviere. (Join in on the Facebook conversation! Search NYYM Fall Sessions 2014 Teen Program.)
SCHOOL-AGE FRIENDS (1st-6th Grade)
Explore the theme of Joy in a Community of Friends. Play get-to-know-you games; learn how Quakers work together; explore the Spirit and one another through art, music, and movement; participate in business meeting; watch movies and put in some time at the playground.
YOUNGEST FRIENDS (Birth – Kindergarten)
Take part in a vibrant childcare program — snacks, stories, new friends, and playtime indoors and out.
